How I received the Creepiest Handshake ever

I was not a handshake or body language reader, and still am not, but after receiving the horrible handshake, it made me sure that this one I'm not going to ask for.

So, two years ago, It was the last day of my office where I was working. My colleagues planned a small party for me, I never felt any kind of attachment to any one of them. Six days ago a new boy joined and my colleagues also invited him to my farewell party.

I had been sensing some sort of discomfort whenever he was around me though I ignored it most of the time. Whether I'm having my coffee or I'm out for a drag, he was there smiling and talking to others. He would say hi every morning and join other colleagues. He was always nice to the cleaning staff and sometimes I heard them laughing together. I do not know why, but I started feeling uneasy facing him. Since I was very excited about my new job and the salary, the discomfort would slowly disappear seeing my husband and kids.

On the last day of my office, I changed my clothes and wore a beautiful blue dress gifted by my husband. I wanted to look happy and confident, so I completely changed my look. After that we headed to a nearby cafe, it was almost 7 and my kids had also planned for me something at home. So I wanted to leave as soon as possible. We ate our food and poured wine, people were saying all the nice and bitchy things about me, and I was also faking a laugh. Then the new boy came and said Hi and asked me to join him for a dance. I did not take it as a big deal cause of the disappeared discomfort, therefore I gave my hand. We danced and when he put his hands on my back, I did not feel right.

Before leaving everyone was hugging and shaking hands, I thought in my head that now I am finally released but then something weird happened.

I was heading towards my car and then he came with a flower in his hand and gave it to me, saying I looked beautiful. I said thanks then he leaned for a hug, I refused cause of the earlier experience. He asked A handshake then?

He extended his hand, looked into my eyes, slightly leaned towards me, and smiled. We did move our hands for three or four ups and downs. I tried releasing my hand but he didn't let me and squeezed my hand for a few seconds. I stared into his eyes and said leave my hand, he kept smiling and squeezing my hand then I looked around, but no one was there. He sensed that I am gonna yell anytime soon therefore he left my hand and rode his bike away.

This was the creepiest handshake of my life ever.

P.S. He was fired from the job.
