Have you also been dealing with those staring eyes full of disgust, ready to attack you just after catching an eye with the crotch area of your panty? Has it made you uncomfortable? Ladies, this is not your fault or any mistakes in your hygiene maintenance, it's actually a sign of your bodily strength within you might not be aware of. Your vagina can bleach your underwear as well as your man's mustache, *wink*
Well, look at you. Now don't "Haawww" at us. It is science and we should be proud of it. Tell those aunties that your vagina is doing fine and she might need to give her precious time to teach her son some manners who stalk you everywhere. But how do we identify those signs, let's find it out?
Vaginal discharge
It is the fluid that comes from the vagina produced by our cervix. It plays an important role in cleaning and hydrating the vagina. After the Menarche, most girls were led to believe that vaginal discharge is due to some underlying disease and blamed for practicing unhealthy hygiene.
A healthy vaginal discharge that prevents bacteria and fights infections has the color off-white, white or clear. But yellow, brownish, or greyish discharge can indicate some issues.
It has an odor but that's something you shouldn't be worried about.
Vaginal pH Balance
To determine if your vagina is doing fine and healthy, it is important to find out the pH level of your vagina. It runs from 0 to 14. A balanced vaginal pH level is between 3.8 and 4.5, which is considered moderately acidic. An acidic vaginal pH provides your vagina with a protective environment. Having a high vaginal pH puts you at risk for Trich (STD), and BV (Bacterial vaginosis).
Bleached Underwears
Those white or yellow stains on your beautiful panties' crotch region are due to your acidic vaginal discharge. Yes, your vagina comes with a tie and dye service. No matter how much you try to clean the stain it stays which is very normal and common. There's nothing to be ashamed of because it is a sign that your vagina is showing its acidic side that tells it is healthy.
What you can do?
- Do not wash inside the vagina, only wash your vulva with warm water.
- To maintain a healthy pH level of your vagina clean it using plain water, it does not need a pleasant smell to cover it with, it will only disturb the pH level.
- Even if you are skipping bathing, don't skip changing undies regularly.
- Your vaginal discharge itself is a cleaning process so you do not need any remedies to try cleaning the insides.
